The number of impacted merchants is expected to be low at this time. If you do experience a crash, please re-launch the Square app and continue using the app as usual. We've identified an issue causing a small number of unexpected crashes in Square apps when prompted to enter an employee passcode. There is a low chance sellers may experience this crash on Square Point of Sale, Restaurants, Retail and Appointments apps.
If you do experience a crash, please re-open the Square app and continue using the app as usual. If you are experiencing repeated crashes, you may want to consider temporarily turning off team passcode use on the app.
